Kalmaté

Kalmaté is the passion project of my friend Jean Knapik, developer by day, who had been toying with the idea of brewing his own maté drink for a long time. After testing various recipes, Kalmaté saw the light of day in Marseille in March 2024. The non-alcoholic energy drink was commercialized in collaboration with a local brewery. I developed a quirky yet minimalist branding for the young brand. With just one strong red accent color and a Mediterranean octopus as its mascot, the brand has a high recognition value in the vast craft beverage market.
